This is the critical finding of a policy paper published jointly by the R\u00f6chling Foundation and the consulting firm Wider Sense under the title POLYPROBLEM.<\/p>\n

Not a day goes by without major media reports on plastic in the environment. Sometimes it\u2019s about spectacular ideas for cleaning up the oceans, sometimes about new findings on microplastics, sometimes about campaigns for a plastic-reduced life. \u201cMany of these initiatives are not only running side by side. In some cases, the arguments and approaches contradict each other,\u201d the authors summarise.<\/p>\n

The publication brings together the most important challenges, solutions and actors in a compact overview and offers guidance for all those who want to get involved in the field of plastic and the environment. Who is pursuing which goal? What are the different priorities? And above all, is there any prospect of a global plan?<\/p>\n

To answer these questions, the authors spoke with international experts. They analysed the most important networks and their strategies and transparently compiled the sources of information relevant to the topic.<\/p>\n

POLYPROBLEM helps everyone to get a holistic overview of the plastic problem and derive their own options from it.<\/p>\n
