Working together for the
largest mangrove forest on Earth<\/h1><\/div>

The Sundarbans are a unique mangrove delta in the Ganges estuary and an ecological protective barrier and habitat for millions of people. Against the backdrop of climate change, plastic pollution and the decline in biodiversity, it is clear that individual initiatives are not enough to protect this sensitive region. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The “Regenerate Sundarbans” initiative brings together local and international stakeholders to join forces. It coordinates projects in the areas of plastic waste prevention, climate-friendly agriculture and water. <\/p>\n

Regenerate Sundarbans is supported and coordinated by the non-profit organization SOCEO in Stuttgart. The R\u00f6chling Foundation has a long-standing partnership with SOCEO, within the framework of which, among other things, a successful collection and recycling system for plastic waste has been developed. <\/p>\n
