Projects
The most important impulses for socio-ecological change come from the heart of society. The Röchling Foundation supports civil society organizations that are committed to combating plastic waste in the environment – be it at the local level or by supporting the development of waste management and recycling structures in emerging and developing countries. When selecting partnerships, a sustainable impact is of particular importance. And this can only be achieved if projects and initiatives are developed not for, but together with the respective target group. The contribution to systemic change is always decisive. Together with our partners, we want to not only treat symptoms, but also understand and combat causes.

Less Waste – More Engagement
On Hamburger Steindamm, the Association of Independent Migrants e.V. (ASM) is committed to a more conscious use of resources – in a place where migrant businesses shape everyday life.

Focus on disposable gloves
Disposable products generate enormous amounts of waste in healthcare, including millions of non-sterile disposable gloves made of nitrile or PVC. They are often used where there is no risk of infection.
