POLYPROBLEM Camp 2026: Wechsel-Geld

POLYPROBLEM Barcamp 2026: Wechsel-Geld. Who Funds the Circular Economy?
You're not supposed to talk about money? We do. And we'd love to talk about it with you.
The transition to a circular economy offers significant economic opportunities, but initially requires massive investments. Companies must develop and test new, circular business models. Banks and investors are called upon to assess risks differently. Meanwhile, impact startups are struggling to secure every cent they need to scale their innovations. And NGOs and civil society initiatives are suffering from declining donations and public funding.
Who is financing the transition to a circular economy? How does the money get to where it’s really needed? And how can the business community, investors, policymakers, and civil society work together effectively to achieve this?
These questions form the focus of our second POLYPROBLEM Camp, titled “Wechsel-Geld” in cooperation with CSR consulting firm Wider Sense, Circular Berlin and the Foundation Bürgermut on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the Mitosis Lab in Berlin-Neukölln. The invitation is extended to everyone working on practical solutions for a circular future. Regardless of the thematic focus, the Barcamp offers an open space for networking and exchange among committed individuals, mutual support and best practices, professional insights and new practical tools, as well as a chance to recharge—because commitment requires energy and solidarity.
So, for the second edition of our Barcamp, the same rule applies: Feel free to bring topics you’d like to discuss or get feedback on.
Program and Participation
The event will take the form of a traditional Barcamp. This means that the participants themselves will shape the day’s program. Everyone can suggest their own topics, ask questions, or share experiences. Come be encouraged, inspired, or get advice from our partners on site.
Participation in the Barcamp is free. Vegetarian and vegan food and drinks will be provided.
